Just Waking Up

Obviously everyone knows by now that Barack Obama is president.

No matter the party affiliation, this an historic achievement.

However, my first thought on waking up today was this:

Where have the people misplaced their brains?

Sorry guys, I meant to post during the all the coverage tonight, but that won't be possible after all. So this is my last post tonight.

Several other states have just closed but ABC can't project yet.

Election Day!

Hello to any readers whatsoever that may have dicovered this blog!

I haven't had the chance to post at all, due to heavy school load, sickness, etc. However I will post the polls as they come in, along with my opinion on it.

Quick Thought

I read an article from Politico a while ago. The article stated that there would not be any devastating last-minute attack ads from John McCain/conservative organizations, because they don't have enough money. I couldn't help but notice a striking contrast between the two presidential candidates:

John McCain could lose the election because he is running out of cash. Barack Obama is raking in hundreds of millions of dollars because he broke (read: LIED ABOUT) his campaign finance promise. I hope that's not a metaphor for how Barack's presidency will go, if he's elected. Looking at stuff like BAIPA, though, that kind of thing could become the norm.

My Very First Ever Blog Post, Ever

Hello, world of Townhall blogging!

This is an introduction to my blog. I'm new at this, so I'll sometimes make lousy sentences (like "This is an introduction") and other stuff like that. This blog is about politics and current events, with slices of NASCAR, baseball, and history. I will try to post at least once every day, but I eventually want to get up to 3-4 posts per day. I hope tons of people read and enjoy this blog! :)

Hopefully I'll see you, O readers, in the comments section!

Fabius
